When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. When you use our service, we collect data about the monitors you create, including URLs, check intervals, and alert preferences.
We automatically collect usage data including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited. We use cookies to maintain your session and remember your preferences.
How we use your information
- To provide and maintain the UptimeClaw service
- To send uptime alerts via your configured channels (email, WhatsApp, webhooks)
- To communicate service updates and important notices
- To improve our service and develop new features
- To prevent fraud and ensure security
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate UptimeClaw (payment processing, email delivery, WhatsApp messaging). All providers are bound by data processing agreements.
Data retention
Monitor check data is retained according to your plan (24 hours to 1 year). Account data is retained while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
Security
We use industry-standard encryption (TLS 1.3) for all data in transit. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. API keys are encrypted at rest. We conduct regular security audits.
Your rights
